After spending some time in Sydney we both felt like we where back in Stockholm during summertime. Parks, coffee places and people drinking wine and beer for “after work” everywhere. More importantly, all the boats and water. A sence of new money directly related from 20 years of growth and increased housing prices. No real set back or crisis experienced by people under 40, which is a large percentage of the total population. This young population projects invincibility and hunger for more wealth.
We still love both Sydney and Stockholm and hopefully both cities will manage a potential decline in property prices. After all, who wants to be invincible?
Some things differ significantly from Stockholm though, like seen in the picture above.
I have to state that the kids playground in Darling Harbour is AWESOME! Good job Aussies… My hat is off!
